Please read these terms carefully before using ChainTax. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.
ChainTax is a tax calculation tool that classifies on-chain DeFi transactions and generates estimated UK tax reports.
ChainTax does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. The figures generated are estimates based on on-chain data and published HMRC guidance. You are responsible for verifying all figures with a qualified tax adviser before filing any tax return.
You must be at least 18 years old and a UK tax resident to use ChainTax. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
ChainTax provides the following:
Plans are one-time payments per tax year, not subscriptions. Prices may change — any change applies to new purchases only. Existing purchases are honoured at the price paid. You may upgrade within a tax year; upgrades are charged at the price difference.
Payments are processed by Stripe. ChainTax does not see or store your card details. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Refund policy: Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a digital content purchase. However, once you download a tax report, you acknowledge that digital content has been delivered and your right to cancel is waived.
If you experience a technical issue preventing service delivery, contact hello@chaintax.co.uk within 14 days of purchase.

ChainTax is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not warrant that every transaction will be correctly classified. Tax calculations are estimates based on published HMRC guidance and on-chain data. Some transactions may be classified as Unknown and require manual review.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your Self Assessment return. Always verify your figures with a qualified tax adviser before filing.
Your use of ChainTax is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using ChainTax, you acknowledge the collection and processing of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of ChainTax after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will notify you via email.
